Eisenstein's theories of cinema are on display with this silent movie, scored with great classical music, you will find visual cinema standards which have remained intact since it was created. When the captain points to the yardarm, watch as the vacant cross mysteriously becomes populated with hanging corpses. This visual effect is used constantly in TV and movies today.
